We are pleased to announce the opening of Park Place Dentistry! World class dental care, close to home!
Dr. Cindy Barnett Nichols is proud to announce the opening of Park Place Dentistry in Park Place Professional Park, Seneca, South Carolina. Park Place Dentistry is a comprehensive care dental practice focusing on dental health for all individuals. Dr. Nichols is an Oconee native, who is excited about returning to the South Carolina upstate to launch this new dental practice.
Dr. Nichols graduated from Clemson University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Sciences. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in 2006. She completed a Prosthodontic Residency program at the University Of Florida School Of Dentistry in 2009 where she received a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a Certificate in Prosthodontics. In June, 2010, Dr. Nichols completed a Maxillofacial Prosthodontic Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, specializing in prosthetic restoration of head and neck cancer patients.
The practice of Prosthodontics is based on the concept of thorough examination and recording of data to develop a treatment plan for the restoration of health and function of the stomatognathic system in patients with compromised dental health. She has extensive training in examination and evaluation of the severely worn and broken dentition to develop a complex restorative treatment plan. She has the experience to be the team leader for surgical, restorative, and maintenances phases of dental procedures to result in favorable oral prognosis. Her prosthodontics interests include the fabrication of crowns, bridges, dentures, placement of dental implants, and restoration of dental implants.
Park Place Dentistry is a state-of-the-art dental practice. Park Place Dentistry is a “paperless” dental practice, as digital radiography and electronic charts are implemented to promote a more environmentally friendly dental practice. Park Place Dentistry has a cone beam computerized tomography (CT) scanner which yields three-dimensional radiography to better detect oral and dental pathology and aid in dental implant therapy diagnosis and treatment.
